As a woman-owned and operated company, our ethos is rooted in building core community and lifting others up. We strive to promote and celebrate social and environmental consciousness from a micro perspective within our studio culture, to a macro view of how we interact with our larger communities.
A personally meaningful pillar of our brand is to work with and support female entrepreneurs. From general contractors to upholstery workrooms, vintage vendors to our own studio team, supporting other females in our larger industry fills our cup.
As part of our commitment to create opportunities and give back to our larger community, we donate a portion of our time and earnings to a variety of non-profit charities that have lasting and profound meaning to us.

Lauren Martin-Moro
founder & principal designer
Alchemy Collective was founded in 2011 by Principal Designer, Lauren Martin-Moro. While her early years in the Bay Area were influenced by her architect and designer parents, she sparked her own path with passions rooted in global fashion, traveling and textile design. With a bachelor's degree in interior architectural design and 20+ years in the industry, Lauren has an innate eye for quality craftsmanship and a deep understanding of her client's needs.
Lauren is known for both her natural ability to visualize a space before it's built and her talent at incorporating modern elements with unique vintage pieces. She believes a home should intentionally reflect its inhabitants and collaborates with her clients to enhance their everyday family life.
Architectural Digest, HGTV, NBC, Domino & others, have applauded her signature aesthetic of refined effortlessness for the ultimate quintessential California living.
Currently residing on the Westside in Los Angeles, when off-duty, you’ll find this working mum of two making homemade sushi, barefoot at the beach or horse riding at the stables.
